Members of the Killeen City Council will receive briefings on an audit report and police statistics at today's meeting, which is open to the public.

The sitting members of the council will hear a presentation from Killeen police on a quarterly report. Police officials may also present the annual crime rate for 2011.

The city also will receive information about an audit report for fiscal year 2010-11 and a proposed timeline for future council meetings and workshops.

The briefing will be held at 5 p.m. at the main conference room in the city's Utility Collections Building, located at 210 W. Avenue C.
