Killeen City Council members will decide tonight whether to grant the transportation division’s request to install a traffic monitoring system that allows remote adjustments.
The $118,964 system — with eight 55-inch monitors — will go in the city’s $2.1 million transportation facility, which is expected to be completed by early December. It will house the department’s offices, training classrooms, a sign shop and control room to monitor the city’s traffic signals.
