A Killeen man is facing a felony charge after he attempted to set fire to his home, according to officials from the Killeen Fire Department.

David Levi Brallier, 29, was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin on Wednesday on a charge of arson. His bail was set at $50,000.

According to an arrest affidavit, the fire department was dispatched to Brallier’s home Nov. 15 in response to a fire.

Officials observed thick smoke coming from the residence, and observed damage from an extinguished fire.

Officials also found a sleeping bag and blanket that appeared to be burned in the home’s bedroom.

Brallier said he set the fire, as well as another in April, because he was depressed about his divorce, the affidavit stated.

Potvin also arraigned Linda Faye Daniels, 54, on an unrelated charge of possession of cocaine, less than 1 gram, on Thursday.

Daniels bail was set at $20,000.
