A 17-year-old teenager was arraigned in a Killeen courtroom Friday for allegedly taking part in the robbery of a pizza delivery employee.

Darquez L. Grindle was arraigned on charges of aggravated robbery by Bell County Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke, who set his bail at $100,000.

Grindle is one of three men Killeen police said robbed a Papa John’s Pizza delivery driver with a gun Aug. 18.

According to an arrest affidavit, the driver was delivering a large order, totaling about $108, to an address in the 2600 block of Mason Drive in Killeen.

The driver told police he was approached by three men, one of whom had a gun.

The three men took his money, his pizza and ran down the street.

On Aug. 29, officers discovered evidence of the robbery, inducing a gun, insulated pizza bags and a receipt, while conducting a search in connection with a shooting that occurred Aug. 6, according to the affidavit.

Kevin Donnell Williams Jr., who was charged with aggravated robbery was named in the affidavit as one of the three men, who along with Grindle, robbed the pizza delivery driver.

Cooke also arraigned Billy O’Bryant Tisdale, 30, on charges of possession of cocaine, more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams, Friday.

Tisdale’s bail was set at $50,000.
