KNCT, the local public TV and radio station, will present an evening of wine tasting during the fifth annual KNCT Wine Classic on Jan. 19 at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center. The event will feature a Wine 101 class, food and a silent auction. Participants will have the opportunity to taste and learn as more than 100 wines from vineyards across Texas and the world. The wines will be paired with a variety of hors d’oeuvres.

The evening starts at 5 p.m. with the Wine 101 class led by Steve Hanik, certified sommelier. Tickets for the class are $100 and include early entry into the wine tasting event. Seating for the class is limited.

The wine tasting will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets for only the tasting portion of the evening are $60.
