The Killeen Police Department is seeking the public’s help to solve a homicide that took place 23 years ago.

The department is asking for any information regarding the death of James Drummond.

Drummond was found at his residence in north Killeen on Nov. 28, 1990, according to previous media reports.

Drummond’s body was discovered by a co-worker who stopped by his residence in the 1500 block of North 38th Street to check on him after the 64-year-old failed to show up for work.

The murder weapon was never found. Police believe Drummond was beaten with an unknown weapon.

Earlier this month, police also asked the public for information on the unsolved deaths of Zara Garcia in 2003 and Pvt. Joshua M. Wyatt in 2009.

Anyone with information on any of these crimes can call Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-8477, go to www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com, or text BELLCO along with the tip to 274367.

All information is confidential.
