Killeen police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a convenience store Sunday night.

The suspect is described as a black male who wore a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue baggy pants and white shoes when he robbed the EZ Way Convenience Store in the 1400 block of West Central Texas Expressway. Police learned of the robbery after getting a call at 9:42 p.m. Sunday.

The suspect entered the store armed with a handgun. He demanded money and then fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police released surveillance photos from the EZ Way on Tuesday depicting the suspect pointing a gun at a clerk, who then gave him money from the cash register.

Detectives are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to contact Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-8477, go to or text KILLEEN along with the tip to 274637.

All tips are confidential, and tips resulting in the suspect's arrest may be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
