Killeen police arrested a woman they said crashed her car into the backyard of a home while driving drunk with three children in the car.
Police charged Evita Natassia Hernandez with driving while intoxicated with a child passenger. Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin arraigned Hernandez on Friday, setting her bail at $25,000.
The charge stems from an April 29 incident. A homeowner called police after he heard a loud noise and found a car in his backyard, according to an arrest affidavit.
Along with Hernandez, three children, ages 12, 10 and 1, were in the car.
At Metroplex Hospital, investigators drew blood from Hernandez to determine if she was intoxicated. A test showed her blood alcohol content to be 0.32, four times the legal limit, the affidavit stated.
Also arraigned were:
Timothy Wayne White Jr. on two charges of robbery. White’s bail was set at $100,000.
Bruce Michael Wiggins, 17, on a charge of escape. Wiggins’ bail was set at $50,000.
Dominic Luke Flowers, 43, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Flowers’ bail was set at $25,000.
Videll Leemeril Vieney, 39, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Vieney’s bond was set at $25,000.
