Lampasas police search for armed bank robber

LAMPASAS  — The police department is searching for an armed man accused of robbing Extraco Bank on North Key Avenue at 1:34 p.m. Friday. According to police reports, the suspect is a clean-shaven white male, approximately 22 to 30 years old, wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt, jeans, white tennis shoes, a ball cap and glasses. The suspect left the bank scene on foot, taking an undisclosed amount of money after brandishing a semi-automatic pistol and demanding money.
