Construction on Farm-to-Market 2410 began in January and will widen 1.5 miles of existing roadway on FM 2410 from a two-lane to a four-lane road with a continuous left turn lane from Roy Reynolds Drive in Killeen to Commercial Drive in Harker Heights.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the $6.8 million project will also include sound barriers between Highland Oaks and Harley Drive in Harker Heights.

Sidewalks will also be built on both sides of the roadway.

Motorists should expect delays and temporary lane closures throughout the duration of the project, which is expected to be completed in spring 2019.
