Cove council

Heart of Texas Defense Alliance Executive Director Keith Sledd, right, makes a point during his Tuesday presentation to the Copperas Cove City Council.

COPPERAS COVE — The City of Copperas Cove will be ready for its Nov. 5 general election after setting the parameters for that vote during the city council’s regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday.

City council seats in Places 3, 4 and 5 will be up for election on Nov. 5. Incumbent Councilmen Dan Yancey and Jay Manning have already filed paperwork to run for re-election in Place 3 and Place 4, respectively.
