TRAFFIC

Interstate 35 in Troy was completely shut down by police on both the northbound and southbound sides, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Sgt. David Roberts. Troy police is working an 18-wheeler crash that blocked the entire highway as of 3 p.m.

"Crash includes a semi that lost its load, so traffic in both directions is currently being affected," an email from Jodi Wheatley with the Central Texas I35 Traveler Information said. "Traffic stacked up in both directions, alternate routes advised."

There is no estimate on when the traffic will clear, and delays of 15 minutes or more should be expected, Wheatley said.
