On Monday, construction crews began repairing a damaged concrete section of the northbound outside lane of W.S. Young Drive in the area of Bacon Ranch Road in Killeen.

The lane will be closed for about four weeks. The lane closure will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays for the duration of the project.

The work also involves removing damaged concrete and pouring a new section of road, curb and gutter.

Traffic will be detoured around the work area, and motorists are asked to anticipate slow traffic and plan alternate routes.

It is recommended drivers use caution and obey signage in the area.

THUGNIFICENT KILLED ME

I have yet to see any road repair project in the KILLzone to end as scheduled. Four weeks, huh? We'll all know in about 29 days.
