TRAFFIC

The driver of a concrete truck that flipped over on U.S. Highway 190/Interstate 14 in Nolanville Monday morning was uninjured in the accident, according to Nolanville police.

Nolanville Police Chief Daniel Porter said the driver of a fully-loaded, 65,000-pound concrete tipped onto its side after swerving to avoid traffic traveling eastbound on the highway.

Porter said concrete trucks when fully loaded are particularly top heavy, increasing the likelihood of tipping over if drivers drive onto the shoulder of the road.

The accident backed up traffic eastbound throughout the morning.
