Former Killeen Councilman Steve Harris filed for the council’s District 4 seat Friday during the open-filing period for the May 6 city election.

Harris is set to face District 4 Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem Brockley Moore, who filed for re-election Wednesday.

All candidates who choose to file as a candidate for one of the council’s four district seats must fill out a ballot application form with City Secretary Dianna Barker at 101 N. College St.

City Hall’s regular business hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
