The LULAC Herencia Council No. 4297 and the Stars and Stripes Exchange Club are hosting a political forum Thursday with candidates running in the Killeen City Council and Killeen Independent School District school board elections on May 6.

The forum, scheduled for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. will be at the Killeen Community Center on South W.S. Young Drive, is free to the public. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.

“Come, listen and address your concerns to the candidates in this moderated event. Voter registration will also be available,” according to a statement from the organizers.

The Killeen Daily Herald is hosting a separate Killeen City Council election forum on March 27, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the same location.
