TEMPLE — The main lanes of northbound and southbound Interstate 35 will be closed starting 7 p.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Thursday in Temple for construction.

The contractor will continue to construct the bridge over the Lampasas Crossing of the BNSF Railroad.

Motorists are advised to find alternative routes and can expect delays in the area.

Northbound lanes will close at South Loop 363. Northbound traffic will be detoured off I-35 at Exit 300 to the northbound frontage road. Northbound trafic will reenter the interstate at Central Avenue.

Southbound lanes will close at Nugent Avenue and will be detoured off the intersate at Exit 302. Southbound traffic will reenter the highway at Bird Creek Shopping Center before South Loop 363.
