The Killeen City Council will meet Tuesday at 5 p.m. to canvass the votes of the May 6 election and to officially confirm the winners of the vote.

The unofficial tally had incumbents Shirley Fleming and Jim Kilpatrick retaining their seats, while newcomers Steve Harris and Debbie-Nash King will join them on the council.

After the votes have been canvassed, the new candidates will be sworn in to the council.

Also on the agenda, the council will consider a resolution to elect a new mayor pro-tem.

This is the personal opinion of this writer.
I recommend that you, the remaining members of this city council 'reject this recent vote of May 6, 2017' on the grounds of elections not going on as to the correct and law-full proceedings of an honest and fair election.
Some things that occurred may not have appeared to be right and truthful, and for this reason I recommend that you reject this vote.
I recommend that those of you that did not find this recent election to 'questionable', speak to your councilman/woman to get this turned around. It's your last chance to see this 'wrong – righted'.
This is my personal opinion.
One of the few who voted.
