The 70th annual Killeen Rodeo kicked off Thursday night with a demonstration from the 1st Cavalry Division Horse Detachment.

The rodeo continues Friday and Saturday with preshow events at 7:30 p.m. and the show starting at 8 p.m. at the Killeen Rodeo Grounds, 3201 S. W.S. Young Drive.

The annual rodeo features traditional rodeo events such as bull riding and the calf scramble. It is an official Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association event. 

Ticket prices for the rodeo are $13 in advance or $15 at the gate. The ticket prices for children are $8 in advance or $10 at the gate. Children who are 6 and younger get in free.
