Candidates for the Killeen City Council district seats and Killeen school board will get another opportunity to court voters Saturday at a second election forum sponsored by the Stars and Stripes Exchange Club of Killeen and the League of United Latin American Citizens.

The forum will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Moss Rose Community Center at 1103 E. Avenue E.

The deadline to register to vote in the May 6 municipal and school board elections is today.

The City Council candidates by district are:

District 1 — Councilwoman Shirley Fleming, Holly Teel and Kenny Wells

District 2 — Debb Nash-King and Larry Smith

District 3 — Councilman Jim Kilpatrick, Patsy Bracey, Hal Butchart and Vantonio Fraley (write-in)

District 4 — Councilman Brockley Moore, Stanley Abrahams, Ralph Cossey Jr. and Steve Harris

The candidates for the school board by place are:

Place 4 — Incumbent Marvin Rainwater and Stephania Williams

Place 5 — Lan Carter, Gerald Dreher, Lonnie Farrow, Bob Snyder and Carlyle Walton
