A 41-year-old man died following a collision between two motorcycles Saturday evening in the 2300 block of Florence Road.

Killeen police said officers responded to the scene at 8:10 p.m. in response to a crash call.

Upon arrival, officers found two motorcycles and two male bikers on-scene. Police said one of the bikers was conscious and the other was lying unresponsive in the roadway.

Officers unsuccessfully attempted to perform CPR on the man until emergency medical services arrived.

He was pronounced dead at 8:52 p.m. by Justice of the Peace Claudia Brown.

Police said officers were told the two motorcycles were traveling southbound on Florence Road before colliding and ejecting both bikers.

The second biker was treated and released at the scene.
