WEATHER

Sunday will be the warmest day in quite a while, according to the National Weather Service.

“We’re predicting the high as 70 degrees,” said Jason Godwin, meteorologist with the NWS Dallas/Fort Worth office.

A chance of light drizzle is also forecast for Sunday, with the potential of isolated showers in the afternoon, Godwin said.

“Rain chances will pick up a little more Sunday night, as a cold front comes through during the evening,” Godwin said.

It will stay dry for most of the work week, with the temperatures ranging from 60s during the day to 40s at night.

When the next cold front comes through on Thursday, it will drop temperatures into the 30s at night, and into the 50s or 40s during the daytime hours, Godwin said.
