BELTON - A Killeen man was indicted Wednesday on two counts of sexual assault.
Gary Paul Scrivner, 31, is accused of sexually assaulting a teenager numerous times over a two-year period, according to a police report.
Scrivner has been charged with aggravated sexual assault and sexual assault.
The alleged victim told police that Scrivner began assaulting her when she was 13 years old. She said he repeatedly assaulted her over the course of two years and told her that if she got pregnant, he would take her to get an abortion.
The victim's mother told police she saw Scrivner naked on top of her daughter on Aug. 23. Scrivener pleaded with the mother to not notify police. However, the mother drove Scrivner to Copperas Cove, dropped him off and immediately called police.
A Bell County grand jury returned the indictment against Scrivner, citing the Aug. 23 incident and an incident from Jan. 5, 2008.
Scrivner is in Bell County Jail on $100,000 bond.
