The Board of Trustees of the Central Counties Center for MHMR Services will meet on Tuesday to approve the contract and compensation of Executive Director Eldon Tietje. The board previously approved a raise for Tietje, but after some controversy, decided to reconsider.
At a July 23 board meeting, an ad hoc committee was formed to revisit the executive director’s new contract. The results will be shared with the public on Tuesday.
The meeting also will cover Tietje’s authority to negotiate the purchase of a building and property at 318 N. Second St., a request for a one-time salary enhancement for Early Childhood Intervention staff and a program performance progress report. The meeting is open to all, and residents are invited to comment at the proceedings.
