A Missouri man is suing Belton Independent School District for more than $100,000 in damages he claims resulted from a negligent district bus driver.

Parkville, Mo., resident George Sipp wants the district to pay him between $100,000 and $500,000 for injuries suffered in a Jan. 5, 2012, incident on Farm-to-Market 439 in which he claims the actions of the driver forced him to lay down his motorcycle.

Sipp’s attorney filed the lawsuit Aug. 28.

The district has not yet filed a response.

According to the lawsuit, Sipp should be compensated for past and future medical expenses, physical pain, impairment and mental anguish.

Sipp was riding his motorcycle southbound on FM 439 while the bus was headed in the opposite direction.

The suit states the driver made a sharp and unexpected left turn, crossing into Sipp’s path and forcing him to lay the bike down to avoid a collision.

Sipp claims the bus driver was speeding, inattentive and failed to take evasive action to avoid a collision.

What did the school do to the bus driver for the wreckless incident? She did receive a citation for the wreck she caused???? Is she still employed as a bus driver? I hope not!

Seriously? If you knew him, you would know that he is a Baptist Minister, ex military, very respectable, and he had almost a dozen witnesses who vowed for him regarding the bus driving in a wreckless manner. He was hurt very badly and very seriously and his first actions were to bring attention to the bus driver and ask her to call for emergency vehicles to help him. Her response was...to deny his request and ask him to move so she can continue on her route. He was so badly injured and weak, he sat down on the bus step bleeding everywhere and started praying for her, the children on the bus and for his recovery. Several others stopped and rendered assistance to him immediately...My personal thoughts are...Do you really want someone driving your children around who fails to follow state driving laws as well as failing to be observant to other traffic around them bringing possible harm to your children? What was going on on the bus?

That's what he says but what did the police report say?
