BELTON — A Bell County grand jury returned indictments against two Nolanville men Wednesday allegedly involved in the sexual assault of a 9-year-old boy.

The grand jury indicted Victorio Nepomuceno, 29, on a charge of aggravated sexual assault and Jose Alberto Rivera-Lugo, 30, on a charge of indecency with a child by contact.

The charges stem from an alleged incident in 2008 occurring at a trailer park in Nolanville.

The boy told his mother in April that when he was in fifth grade, two men baby-sitting him assaulted him.

At an interview with a forensic investigator in Tarrant County, the boy said Nepomuceno raped him. He also told the investigator Rivera-Lugo placed an object he described as a broom handle in his anus.

If convicted, Nepomuceno could face life in prison. Rivera-Lugo could face between two and 20 years if found guilty.
