The next Cuisine Nights Dining Experience hosted by the Central Texas College Culinary Arts/Hospitality Department is Friday, featuring a Mediterranean menu. Dinner will be served from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Patio Café in the Student Center (Bldg. 106).

Start the evening with an appetizer, soup and/or salad: cheese and herb triangles — filo dough triangles stuffed with feta and cottage cheese and a herb blend ($3); honey oat roll ($1.50 or one free with an entrée); cream of pumpkin soup ($7 for a bowl or $1.50 for a cup with an entrée); grilled chicken salad ($9.50) and the house salad ($3.75 or free with an entrée).

The evening’s entrees are mahi-mahi ($15); Mediterranean Cornish hen ($12); and rosemary grilled pork chop ($11.50). Each entrée is served with a choice of two side dishes: potato cake, a mixture of green beans, tomatoes and onions sautéed with bacon, spiced couscous and a blend of grilled vegetables. Additional side dishes are $1.50.

For dessert, try baklava ($3.50) or yellow lemon cake ($3.50).

Reservations are required by 10 a.m. Friday. Call (254) 526-1515.
