The Central Texas College Culinary Arts Department will host a Patio Café Cuisine Nights Dining Experience on Friday featuring Floribbean cuisine. Dinner will be served from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center (Bldg. 106).
The meal begins with an appetizer and soup – coconut shrimp ($7), Cuban black bean soup ($7 for a bowl, $3 for a bowl with an entrée or $1.50 for a cup with an entree), grilled chicken salad ($11) or a house salad for $3.75 or free with an entrée.
The evening’s entrees are chicken with tamarind ginger sauce ($11.50); roasted pork chops with mushrooms ($12.50); and grilled shark in herb butter ($14.50). Each entree is served with a choice of two side dishes. Choose from mushrooms and asparagus, Floribbean slaw, rice and peas, and corn custard.
Finish with dessert: choco flan ($3.50) or key lime mousse pie ($3.50).
