The Central Texas College Culinary Arts Department will offer German cuisine at Friday’s Patio Cafe. Dinner will be served from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center (Bldg. 108).
The menu includes an appetizer, soup and salads: frikadellan spiebchen (meatballs), $4.50; blumen kohl (cauliflower soup), $6.50; krabben spuiat salat (shrimp and spinach salad), $11.50; and a house salad, $3.75.
The featured entrees are rindsrouladen (rolled beef steak), $11; chicken cordon bleu, $13; and jagerschnitzel with bacon mushroom gravy, $11.50.
All entrees are served with a choice of two side dishes. Diners can choose from spatzle, kartoffelpfannkuchen (potato pancakes), garlic-grilled asparagus and rotkohl mit apflen (braised red cabbage with apples). Additional entrees are $1.50 each.
For dessert, choose Black Forest torte ($4) or apricot cream puff swans ($3.50).
