Three people were taken to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood after a high-speed chase ended in a car wreck in Killeen on Monday.

Ofelia Miramontez, Killeen Police Department spokeswoman, said police were called to Walmart at 2:38 p.m. in reference to a theft.

When police located the vehicle of the suspect near the 2500 block of W.S. Young Drive, he headed north on W.S. Young and turned west on Central Texas Expressway at a high rate of speed.

Miramontez said when the suspect attempted to make a turn onto Trimmier, his vehicle collided with a city dump truck and another vehicle.

The condition of the suspect and the two occupants of the other vehicle was unknown.

Makes me think that since they were taken to Darnell hospital that they are in the military or their relatives... makes for an easy decision for a chapter out of the Army.
The Army does not need the rift raft that steals from a Walmart, then flees from police.
    Probably being chaptered out anyway.

Yet another reason running from the police is stupid.
