FORT HOOD — Dozens of buildings reported phone outages beginning Thursday and the problem continued into Friday, according to Army officials.

The outages were reported in south-central Fort Hood, from Clear Creek Road to 56th Street, said Fort Hood spokesperson Chris Haug. Many of the buildings are operated by the post’s public works department.

Crews with the Fort Hood Network Enterprise Center had the phone lines fixed late Friday afternoon, Haug said.

The cause of the outages was not identified.
