Coryell County reported 192 votes were cast Wednesday on day three of early voting. A total of 79 votes were cast in Copperas Cove and 113 in Gatesville, giving the county 546 votes in the first three days.

In Bell County, 194 residents voted Thursday, bringing the four-day total to 745.

Lampasas reported 51 voters Thursday. That brought the total voters in four days to 160.

Residents across the state will be voting on seven proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution.

Copperas Cove residents will be voting on two seats for the City Council, Place 6 and Place 7. The school board also has two contested seats: Place 5 and Place 6. Cove residents will also vote on whether or not to form a Municipal Development District.

The Gatesville Independent School race for school board is hotly contested this year, with 13 people running for three contested seats.

There is one contested seat in Nolanville.

Nolanville residents are also voting on a proposition that concerns funding for road repairs. | 254-501-7464
