Two candidates filed for a spot on the Killeen Independent School District board of trustees Friday — the last day to file.

Phuong “Lan” Carter, who taught at Copperas Cove ISD for three years, and former attorney Aya Fubara-Eneli both filed for the Place 4 seat.

They join retired Staff Sgt. Brockley Moore and retired educator Marvin Rainwater, who filed for the seat earlier this month.

Killeen ISD school board vice president Terry Delano is unopposed in the race for the Place 5 seat.

The municipal election is May 10 with early voting April 28 through May 6.
