Heights moves forward with engineering portion of several capital improvement projects

HARKER HEIGHTS — After some discussion amongst councilmen, City Manager David Mitchell received authorization to sign several professional services contracts with Walker Partners for the engineering on five capital improvement projects during Tuesday’s council meeting.

The projects, which total more than $3.6 million, include: upgrades to the Cedar Knob pump station and Warriors Path lift station, purchasing a mixing system for the Cedar Oaks standpipe, putting in a liquid ammonium sulfate system at the Verna Lee pump station and reconstructing Amy Lane.
