With less than two months to go before the Republican primary for the November 2018 general election, the Killeen Daily Herald will hold a House District 54 candidates’ forum Monday at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center.

The Herald will ask the candidates the questions that matter to you, with topics ranging from property taxes to immigration.

Republicans Scott Cosper, the incumbent in the seat, Dr. Brad Buckley, a Killeen veterinarian, and Larry Smith, a retired U.S. Army captain, are expected to attend, as well as Democrat Kathy Richerson, a retired Realtor.

The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., and the doors will open at 6 p.m. The forum is free to the public.

The Killeen Civic and Conference Center is at 3601 S. W.S. Young Drive.
