UPDATE: 8:50 p.m. Marin Rainwater received the most votes in the race for the Killeen Independent School District Board of Trustees Place 4 seat.

Nearly 50 percent of residents who cast a ballot in the race voted for Rainwater, who received a total of 2,235 votes.

Marvin Rainwater is in the lead for the Killeen Independent School District Board of Trustees Place 4 seat, according to early voting totals.

A total of 3,026 residents cast their ballots in early voting and Rainwater received 47.2 percent of those votes with 1,410 residents voting for him.

Aya Eneli trails with 965 votes, followed by Brockley Moore with 440 votes and Lan Carter with 174 votes during early voting.

School Board Vice President Terry Delano is unopposed for his Place 5 seat. In early voting, he received 2,296 votes.
