Shoemaker High School was placed on lockdown this morning after a student may have threatened a teacher.

Officials closed the campus at 9:35 a.m. due to a "perceived threat towards a staff member from a student," according to a statement from a Killeen Independent School District spokesperson.

The lockdown was lifted at 10:30 a.m. after KISD police and campus officials investigated the threat.
