The Ellison High School Sidewalk Project began this week, and daily construction continues from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the summer.

The project will construct sidewalks along Elms Road, from Trimmier Road to Adrian Barnes Drive, along Adrian Barnes Drive, from Elms Road to Weiss Drive, and along Weiss Drive, from Adrian Barnes Drive to Tortoise Lane.

This project is part of the city’s School Safety Initiative and will provide a safer pedestrian route to Ellison High School. Motorists should exercise caution and pay close attention to construction signage and workers, according to a city news release.
