The state of Texas requires several immunizations before children can start school.
With the start of school just over two weeks away, several area agencies are conducting low- and no-cost immunization clinics this week, with the first one scheduled today in Lampasas.
Other clinics have scheduled extended hours.
Parents may elect to obtain the shots while visiting their primary care physician as well.
