Police arrested three Killeen residents this week in connection with a burglary that took place early Sunday morning, police said in a news release.
About 1 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a burglary in the 3300 block of Toledo Drive. The victim said she saw her bedroom light on, and found cabinet doors open and numerous items missing from her home, police said.
During their investigation, detectives were told that the stolen items had been seen inside a residence in the 3400 block of Toledo Drive.
"They cleaned the lady's house out," Carroll Smith, Killeen Police Department spokeswoman, said Friday morning. "They took a lot of furniture."
On Thursday, those items were found and returned, police said. Rodney Jackson, 23, was arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation. Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin issued a $50,000 bond at Jackson's arraignment.
Jackson was arrested at the scene with the stolen furniture Wednesday, Smith said. He came to the residence while police were investigating.
Bianca Adams, 19, and Zachary Taylor, 29, were also charged with burglary of a habitation. Taylor and Adams were arrested at their homes Thursday on warrants, Smith said. Both were arraigned Friday morning with bonds set at $50,000 for each.
