A 17-year-old Ellison High School student was arrested on charges he spray-painted a school stairwell with graffiti Friday.
Dawson Michael Dolifka, 17, was stopped by an Ellison High School staff member after being seen using a spray can to paint graffiti in a school stairwell Friday, an arrest affidavit stated.
Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin arraigned Dolifka Wednesday on a charge of felony graffiti.

An apartment was burglarized in the 300 block of South 42nd Street in Killeen between 3 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Tuesday. A refrigerator valued at $300 was stolen.
An apartment was burglarized in the 4400 block of Jeff Scott Drive in Killeen between 8 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. A Vivitar camera, a Panasonic 42-inch TV, a monitor, a Dell computer, an iPod and a printer valued at $1,815 were stolen.
An apartment was burglarized in the 1500 block of Cinch Drive in Killeen between 9 and 10 a.m. Tuesday. A 42-inch TV, a Nintendo Wii, a Sony laptop and assorted perfumes valued at $2,600 were stolen.
A 2005 Volkswagen Jetta valued at $21,000 was stolen from the 4400 block of Pete Drive in Killeen between 9 p.m. Monday and 7:20 a.m. Tuesday.
A theft of more than $1,500 but less than $20,000 was reported in the 2700 block of Phyllis Drive in Copperas Cove at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday. An iPod, pearls, sunglasses, a mailbox key and coins valued at $3,245 were stolen.
A juvenile was detained and released to a parent in an aggravated assault of a child that was reported in the 200 block of Fourth Street in Copperas Cove at 11:47 a.m. Tuesday.
