(SHREVEPORT, LA) - The Shreveport National Weather Service has the ArkLaTex under a Flash Flood Watch until noon Saturday.  Heavy rain through early Saturday morning could cause flash flooding especially in low lying sections.

Rainy skies are forecast during the morning on Election Day. so be sure and take your umbrella with you to the polls.  Heavy rain moves away early.  But, showers and drizzle may continue on and off into the afternoon with another 2 to 4 inches of rain.  

Windy and cold conditions are also expected with temperatures in the 40s and winds over 10 mph.
