FORT WORTH — A Fort Worth police captain surrendered on a warrant issued in connection with an alleged domestic disturbance last month.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported jail records show Capt. Duane Paul did a “walk-through” at the Tarrant County Jail on Friday morning, turning himself in on a warrant for assault with bodily injury of a family member and immediately posting bond. The department temporarily relieved him of command and police powers after officers were summoned to his Fort Worth home Nov. 21 on allegations he assaulted a family member.
