Killeen school burglarized

A Killeen middle school was burglarized Tuesday. A burglary was reported at Nolan Middle School at 505 E. Jasper Drive in Killeen between 2:30 and 5:36 p.m.

The report stated that it was not determined if any items were taken. Killeen Independent School District officials are on a holiday vacation until Jan. 5 and could not be reached for comment.

Other crimes reported:

An apartment was burglarized in the 4100 block of Nadine Drive in Killeen between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A building was burglarized in the 400 block of Cove Terrace in Copperas Cove at 5:27 p.m. Tuesday.

Assorted jewelry, a purse, electronics, clothing, a sewing machine, a luggage set, a camera and kitchenware valued at $10,784 were stolen.

A 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse valued at $16,210 was reported stolen from the 1300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Copperas Cove at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday.
