Killeen police need the publics help identifying a man in connection with Mondays credit union robbery. He was seen wearing a sweater shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, walking in or around the 1600 block of South Fort Hood Street.
At 2:55 p.m., the man entered the Heart of Texas Federal Credit Union at 1612 S. Fort Hood St. and handed a teller a note that demanded money. He fled the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The man is described as being clean-shaven with a medium complexion in his mid- to late 20s, between 5-feet-9 and 6 feet tall and weighing between 150 to 170 pounds.
His hair was braided, and he was wearing sunglasses, a dark-colored ball cap, a white sweater with a black and maroon stripe and the words Phat Farm on the front, a white T-shirt and baggy blue jeans.
As he fled the credit union, the robber took off the sweater. The sweater was recovered by officers near the scene.
The robber did not display a weapon.
