Due to the funeral services for Officer Hornsby on Thursday, July 18, 2013, the following roadways will be closed from 11:00  a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • W.S. Young  from Elms Road to Azalea Drive
  • Liberty Street to Atkinson Street
  • The outside eastbound lane on Rancier Ave from W.S. Young to 38th Street

W.S. Young from Elms Road to Little Nolan will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Killeen Police Department would like to ask everyone to drive safely and obey all traffic laws.

These road will be closed to through traffic; however, people attending the funeral services and residents who live on the closed portions of these streets will have access. We ask for the community's patience, as drivers may need to communicate with an officer directing traffic as to their destination (funeral services or to a residence).
