As construction ramps up on U.S. Highway 190, traffic jams are bound to increase, and the Herald is here to help.

Check out our Jam Cam at kdhnews.com/traffic to see real time feeds of U.S. Highway 190 traffic through Killeen before you hit the road.

The cameras are set up on the Herald’s building at Florence and Jasper roads, offering a live look at traffic along U.S. 190 toward Fort Hood Street to the west and toward W.S. Young Drive to the east.

The two cameras can be accessed from computers, tablets and smartphones via kdhnews.com/traffic. The page also offers a look at traffic information, such as lane closures, accidents and roadwork, throughout Central Texas.

Business sponsorships of the traffic page are available by calling (254) 501-7499.

Great idea. At least we have some sensible people that look out for city of Killeen residents when those charged with it can't meet the standard. Thanks KDH.
