From 7 p.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday, the northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 35 near Farm-to-Market 2268 in Salado will be closed to all, according to a release from the Texas Department of Transportation.

Southbound traffic will leave the freeway at Exit 283 (FM 2268) to the frontage road and re-enter the main lanes at the first on-ramp south of FM 2834. The southbound off-ramp (Exit 284) and on-ramp near Thomas Arnold Road will be closed.

Northbound traffic will exit the freeway at Exit 283 (FM 2834) to the frontage road and re-enter the freeway north of FM 2268. The northbound off-ramp at Grainger Road (Exit 282) will be closed.

This closure will allow the contractor to set beams in place for the new FM 2268 bridge.
