UPDATE, 12:30 p.m.: All northbound I-35 travel lanes are now opened, southbound lanes still closed for more cleaning at this time.

TEMPLE — Interstate 35 is shut down near mile markers 314 and 315 in Bruceville-Eddy, the Texas Department of Transportation reported Friday morning.

It was not expected to be cleared until at least 10 a.m., reports said.

Three semis wrecked, involving both the north and southbound lanes, requiring vehicles to exit going both ways.

Alternate routes are suggested for any travelers taking those routes Friday morning.

On U.S. Highway 190, heavy fog was seen this morning, especially in the Nolanville area.

Drivers are encouraged to drive cautiously with their lights on.
