Construction will impact outbound Fort Hood traffic beginning Wednesday.

The Texas Department of Transportation will temporarily reduce southbound traffic on Fort Hood’s TJ Mills Boulevard to two lanes through mid-July from the post’s main gate to U.S. Highway 190, according to a release from post officials.

An additional merge lane will be temporarily dedicated to outbound Santa Fe Avenue to ensure a safe and efficient flow of traffic is maintained from the installation. Posted speed limits will also be reduced to 25 mph within the transition area.
